Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. This position is remote except it requires the individual to come one day a month onsite in Alpharetta. This Contract-to-Permanent position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with experience in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate records. The role involves supporting key accounting functions and contributing to the financial stability of the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and track expenses to ensure accurate reporting and budget adherence.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets to support decision-making.
  • Utilize QuickBooks Online for efficient bookkeeping and financial management.
  • Perform job costing and project accounting to maintain proper cost allocations.
  • Handle subcontractor billing and ensure compliance with lien waiver requirements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Develop and implement systems to streamline accounting processes.
  • Support month-end close activities and payroll processing.
  • Enter and maintain financial data with a high level of accuracy. Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for managing financial records.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Experience with job costing and project accounting is highly preferred.
  • Ability to perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Familiarity with subcontractor billing and lien waiver requirements.
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
