Job Description
Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. This position is remote except it requires the individual to come one day a month onsite in Alpharetta. This Contract-to-Permanent position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with experience in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate records. The role involves supporting key accounting functions and contributing to the financial stability of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track expenses to ensure accurate reporting and budget adherence.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets to support decision-making.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for efficient bookkeeping and financial management.
- Perform job costing and project accounting to maintain proper cost allocations.
- Handle subcontractor billing and ensure compliance with lien waiver requirements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Develop and implement systems to streamline accounting processes.
- Support month-end close activities and payroll processing.
- Enter and maintain financial data with a high level of accuracy. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for managing financial records.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience with job costing and project accounting is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Familiarity with subcontractor billing and lien waiver requirements.
- Solid skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
