This position involves tracking inventory levels, conducting audits, and ensuring that all inventory-related processes are executed efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail, contributing to the overall financial health of the company. Duties Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring timely updates to reflect stock levels. Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless inventory management and reporting. Assist in account reconciliation processes, verifying that inventory records align with financial reports. Interpret financial reports related to inventory and provide insights for decision-making. Utilize accounting software such as Xero and Sage for effective inventory tracking and reporting. Support corporate accounting functions by providing necessary data for tax preparation and compliance. Engage in account analysis to optimize inventory turnover rates and minimize excess stock. Skills Proficiency in account reconciliation and financial report interpretation. Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is highly desirable. Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero and Sage is a plus. Understanding of wills, trusts, estate law, and tax regulations related to inventory management is beneficial.
