Accounting Supervisor (On-Site) –

On-site, Monday-Friday (5x a week) Vaco is currently partnering with a reputable organization in Duluth, GA that is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations. This role requires a strong background in General Ledger (GL) Accounting, experience supervising 3+ employees, and proficiency in NetSuite ERP. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in AP/AR operations, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and support the finance team in optimizing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor a team of 3+ accounting professionals, providing guidance and performance evaluations. Oversee GL Accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Utilize NetSuite ERP to manage financial transactions, reporting, and system improvements. Assist in audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting. Develop and implement best practices for reporting in NetSuite.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) 5+ years of GL accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory role at a $100+MM organization (must have) NetSuite ERP (must have) MS Excel – Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas, sum-if statements (must have) Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
