Job Description
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the industry for an Office Manager located in Augusta, Georgia. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks, including welcoming the public, accounts payable functions, administrative tasks to name a few!
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications
- Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit records
- Handle incoming and outgoing communication, including phone calls and mail
- Take charge of inventory management, including ordering and distributing office supplies
- Organize meetings, appointments, and conference calls as needed
- Coordinate requests for personnel and screen candidates for hiring
- Carry out pre-employment screening for new hires, including background checks and verification of licenses/certifications
- Oversee changes in computer systems needed for new and terminated employees in collaboration with IT company
- Administer employee benefits and handle any changes as requested by employees
- Maintain detailed records of accounts payable processing cycle and associated ledgers and journals
- Oversee the preparation of the accounts payable function, ensuring purchases are approved, invoices are coded, and disbursements are accounted for Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
- Demonstrable skills in Data Entry
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Administrative Office tasks
- Proven ability in Office Administration
- Strong Communication Skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in Public Affairs and Public Facing roles
- Ability to maintain a Detail Oriented Demeanor at all times
- Familiarity with Human Resources (HR) Administration
- Understanding of Employment Policies
- Experience in Scheduling and Scheduling Management
- Ability to perform Receptionist Duties when required
