The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for planning and carrying out broad assignments, processes credit applications, and collects/reconciles agent accounts receivables. Proficiency in managing outstanding payments, ensuring accuracy, and improving cash flow. Key areas include invoicing, collections, reconciliation, and customer communication skills. Provide exceptional customer service and resolved billing inquiries promptly, maintaining positive customer relationships. Job Location:

Thomasville, GA Essential functions:

Invoicing:

Creating and sending invoices, ensuring accuracy and adhering to company policies.

Collections:

Following up on overdue invoices, negotiating payment plans, and resolving billing issues.

Reconciliation:

Reconciling payments to invoices and bank statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Customer Communication:

Handling customer inquiries, providing clear and concise information about billing and payment issues.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of invoices, payments, and other relevant financial data.

Software Proficiency:

Demonstrating expertise in AR software, such as ERP systems or specific accounting software.

Financial Analysis:

Analyzing AR data to identify trends, improve collection strategies, and optimize cash flow.

Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Problem-Solving:

Identifying and resolving issues, such as discrepancies and payment disputes.

Time Management :

Prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.

Data Entry:

Precisely inputting and verifying financial data.

Basic Requirements:
Education:

High School Diploma or completed GED, four year degree in accounting or related field, preferred

Experience:

3-5 years of Accounts Receivable experience required, experience in manufacturing environment, preferred

Physical Skill & Effort:

Work requires moderate speed and accuracy operating office equipment. Work involves fairly light and simple types of physical exertion.

Working Conditions and Hazards:
