Kelly Services is hiring for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Bossier City, LA.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8a-5p (may include some overtime) What’s a typical day as an Accounts Payable Clerk? You’ll be:

• Utilize AP Dept email to access and print / sort invoices
• Sort invoices that are received by US Mail.
• Retrieve supporting documents (purchase order, goods receipt, receiving / inspection reports) from files
• Post invoices into SAP program
• Prepare invoices for payment / prepare wire documents / mail checks
• Attach wire documents / check stubs to invoices and file
• Assist with filing for the accounting department
• Serve as back-up to receptionist in answering phone This job might be an outstanding fit if you: – Have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of experience in a business office environment focusing on financial accounting, payroll, and accounts payable.

– Possess strong knowledge of QuickBooks, general ledger functions, and payroll processing. – Are proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to prepare comprehensive financial reports. – Can effectively communicate both orally and in writing and maintain a professional demeanor when interfacing with vendors and colleagues.
