Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant JRH Construction Consultants

This role supports leadership directly while ensuring our financial records and daily operations stay on track. It’s a mix of bookkeeping, coordination, and proactive problem-solving. - Maintain financial records and transactions in QuickBooks Online
- Create job-level P&L reports for project cost tracking
- Prepare payroll, file payroll forms, and manage liabilities
- File and pay state sales tax
- Monitor and reconcile A/P, A/R, and bank balances
- Organize internal documents and digital records
- Monitor shared email inboxes and calendars
- Track and manage payment of company and executive utility bills (ensure auto-drafts, due dates, logins, and confirmations are maintained) Executive Assistant Support
- Schedule meetings and appointments
- Arrange travel and accommodations
- Run local errands (company-related)
- Restock office groceries and supplies as needed
- Take notes and summarize meetings or calls
- Conduct research for vendors, purchases, or business-related decisions
- Assist with select personal tasks for company leadership (e.g., appointments, scheduling, errands, follow-ups) Qualifications
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (minimum 2 years required)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Clear, professional communication
- Experience in a small business or construction/metal supply office a plus
- Discretion and trustworthiness in handling sensitive data
