Job Description

Full Charge Bookkeeper
We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client in New Orleans. This role is open due to growth of the company. In this role, you will manage financial records, oversee accounting functions, and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions. You will play a key role in handling accounts, payroll, and other financial operations critical to the organization.
Responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile bank accounts, sales tax, and payroll taxes on a monthly basis
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
  • Record and organize daily financial transactions, maintaining consistent and precise records
  • Process payroll and employee expense reports while adhering to compliance standards
  • Utilize accounting software systems, such as QuickBooks or similar, to manage financial data
  • Prepare and maintain the general ledger, ensuring alignment with financial policies
  • Conduct cash flow analysis and assist in developing annual budgets and forecasts
  • Generate financial reports to monitor transactions and provide insights to management
  • Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and records
  • Perform administrative tasks related to financial operations as needed
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in managing computerized accounting systems and accounting software platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis.
  • Expertise in performing a wide range of accounting functions, including AP and AR.
  • Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and annual budget preparation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online for financial tracking and reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
