Ensure that accounting data is collected and processed in a confidential and timely manner.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities A working knowledge of bookkeeping procedures Must have a working knowledge of computer operations. Must Possess excellent data entry skills. Must be detail oriented but also be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have excellent oral communication skills and the ability to answer incoming accounting phone calls. Must be able to work well with others. Essential Functions Answering and directing phone calls Taking and distributing messages Distributing documents, correspondence, and package deliveries. Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming mail Maintaining accounting filing systems Photocopying, scanning and faxing. Sending emails Preparing and sending outgoing mailings and packages Typing documents and correspondence Accounts Payables (Entering vendor bills and paying vendors) (applying bills to correct jobs) Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent Proficient in use of email and internet Knowledge of software applications including MS Office.
