General Summary:
A non-exempt, clerical positionresponsible for increasing theproductivity and efficiency of an expanding accounting department.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Post payments, process checks, and handle creditcard transactions with precision. Manage case statuses, ensuring accurate updatesthroughout the litigation process. Reconcile accounts and confirm outstandingbalances for accuracy and completion. Handle administrative tasks like answeringphones, processing mail, and sending attorney statements. Print and forward billing statements, reductionrequests, and process discounts or adjustments. Collaborate with other departments to gathernecessary information and resolve discrepancies.
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software and MicrosoftExcel. Strong attention to detail and organizationalskills. Excellent communication and problem-solvingabilities. Familiarity with workers’ compensation orpersonal injury billing is a plus.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent,some college preferred.
Experience:
Two or more years of experience ina clerical position. Must be proficientin Excel.
