Accounts Payable Coordinator Position Available In Terrebonne, Louisiana

We are currently seeking an experienced accounts payable coordinator This position will report directly to the Accounts Payable manager and will be responsible for clerical duties involving various aspects of the accounts payable function. Including but not limited to, payment invoices, researching accounts, coding invoices, and preparing payments. Although this position is currently remote in Louisiana, the ideal candidate will be located within commuting distance of either Houma or Lafayette, as it may transition to an onsite role in the future. Starting hourly salary range is $17.80 to $20.27 and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. Duties and Responsibilities Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system accurately and promptly. Process payments via check and ACH in accordance with payment terms and company policy. Review purchase orders, complete three-way match reconciliation for purchase order invoices and/or other related documentation for completion and compliance with accounts payable policies, procedures, and contractual requirements. Review and verify employee expense reports for accuracy, compliance with company policies, and proper documentation prior to reimbursement. Work directly with various internal departments to ensure efficiency and accuracy of A/P Researching invoices or payment discrepancies. Ensuring receipt of credit for outstanding memos. Assists with other accounting matters as necessary. Performs other related duties as assigned and serves in whatever other capacity deemed necessary for successful completion of the mission and goals of CIS and in concordance with its patient philosophy. Skills and Abilities Computer literacy Key punching experience Good math skills Good Communication Skills NetSuite and/or Envi experience is a plus. Experience in healthcare administration industry is preferred but not required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or associate’s degree.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years A/P experience
