The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers. This role requires strong technical accounting skills and proficiency in various accounting software systems. The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. Duties Process and review invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper coding and approvals are obtained. Manage vendor relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable transactions, maintaining organized records. Utilize accounting software such as JD Edwars, Kofax, AP Agility and TAP. systems to manage accounts payable functions. Collaborate with the human resources department to ensure alignment on employee-related expenses. Assist in month-end closing processes by preparing reports related to accounts payable activities. Support corporate accounting initiatives by providing necessary documentation and reports as required. Skills Proficiency in technical accounting principles and practices. Experience with accounting software such as JD Edwars, Kofax, AP Agility and TAP. Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Familiarity with corporate accounting processes is preferred. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams. Ability to work independently while being part of a team-oriented environment.
