Job Description:

Roessel Joy is partnering with a growing company who is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join their accounting team. The AR Specialist will be responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer invoices, maintaining customer account records, reconciliations, posting payments, and resolving billing issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and send accurate customer invoices in a timely manner Apply payments to customer accounts via checks, ACH, credit cards, and other methods Monitor aging reports and perform proactive collections outreach via email, phone, and mail Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payments, billing, and credits Maintain up-to-date customer account information and records in accounting systems Respond promptly and professionally to customer billing inquiries Identify opportunities for process improvement in the AR function
