Job Description
HUD Compliance AP Specialist Non-profit Newbury, MA 01951 A non-profit is seeking to hire an HUD Compliance AP Specialist. Need a candidate who has HUD compliance experience. Additionally, advanced Excel skills and prior experience using NetSuite are highly preferred. Responsibilities Process accounts payable transactions in a timely manner, including invoice verification and payment processing. Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records. Maintain the general ledger accounting system by recording all accounts payable transactions. Collaborate with HRIS systems to ensure accurate payroll processing related to accounts payable functions. Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls during the accounts payable process. Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a professional manner. Utilize accounting software such as Ceridian and Quicken for efficient processing of payments and reporting. Qualifications Proven experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles. Familiarity with payroll processes and HRIS systems is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting. Knowledge of SOX compliance standards is a plus. AFTP123
