Bookkeeper We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeperto join our team in Springfield, Massachusetts. The role plays a key part inmaintaining accurate accounts and ensuring the smooth financialoperations of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintainaccurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Performregular bank reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy. Overseepayroll processing and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Prepare and assist with month-end closing procedures, including journalentries. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzingaccount information. Utilize bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks totrack financial transactions. Generate detailed financial reports formanagement review. Enter and update financial data accurately intospreadsheets and accounting systems. Collaborate with other departmentsto address and resolve accounting issues. Ensure compliance with companypolicies and financial regulations. Requirements Proven experience inbookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable. Proficiency inusing QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks. Strongunderstanding of account reconciliation and bank reconciliationprocesses. Familiarity with payroll processing and related compliancerequirements. Knowledge of month-end close procedures and financialreporting. Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy andattention to detail. Ability to analyze financial data and resolvediscrepancies effectively. Strong organizational skills and the abilityto manage multiple priorities.
