We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support the Controller by performing various clerical tasks, maintaining financial records, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry:
Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software.
Record Keeping:
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
Reconciliation:
Assist in reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
Process invoices, track expenses, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the Controller.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations. Assist with
Audits:
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to multi-task with last minute requests. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

$25.00 – $30.00 per hour
