Accounting Specialist Position Available In Middlesex, Massachusetts

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Stow, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in accounting functions and a keen eye for detail. You will play a vital role in managing financial processes and ensuring accurate reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Process and record accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and tracking payments.
• Perform reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee collections activities to ensure timely receipt of outstanding balances.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to organize, analyze, and present financial data effectively.
• Operate and manage accounting software systems such as Ceridian, Concur, and ERP platforms.
• Conduct audits of financial records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Handle billing functions and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Requirements
• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency in using accounting software systems, including Ceridian, Concur, and ERP platforms.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Ability to conduct reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Familiarity with auditing processes and billing functions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication abilities for interacting with clients and internal teams.
