Accounting Specialist Position Available In Middlesex, Massachusetts

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Framingham, Massachusetts. This role requires a strong background in accounting practices, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial auditing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in utilizing accounting software and ERP systems to ensure accurate financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform financial audits to assess compliance and identify discrepancies.
• Process billing functions and maintain detailed financial records.
• Utilize ERP systems to streamline accounting operations and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams to reconcile financial transactions and resolve issues.
• Handle data entry and reporting tasks using accounting software systems.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards in all accounting activities.
• Monitor and analyze financial trends to support strategic decision-making.
• Work with tools such as ADP, Ceridian, and Concur to optimize payroll and expense management.
• Provide support for month-end and year-end closing procedures. Requirements
• Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.
• Proficiency in using accounting software systems and ERP platforms.
• Familiarity with ADP, Ceridian, and Concur for payroll and expense management.
• Strong understanding of auditing processes and financial compliance.
• Ability to manage billing operations and maintain accurate documentation.
• Excellent analytical skills to monitor and interpret financial data.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
