In this seat, you will be responsible for coding invoices into their ERP, assisting with check run preparation, responsible to internal/external inquiries regarding invoice status, and other ad hoc tasks as requested. The ideal candidate has relevant AP/AR experience and has worked in the construction space! Responsibilities Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely. Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure all accounts are balanced. Prepare and post journal entries as necessary to reflect financial activities. Assist with payroll management, including data entry and verification. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, UltiPro, and ADP for various financial tasks. Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls. Collaborate with public accounting firms during audits and provide necessary documentation. Maintain organized records of financial transactions, invoices, and receipts. Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding payments and account statuses. Experience Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation processes. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, UltiPro, or similar platforms. Understanding of financial concepts and principles related to accounting practices. Experience with payroll management is preferred but not required. Knowledge of SOX compliance is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. AFTP123
