In this seat, you will be reporting to the Billing Manager and work closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager. You primary responsibilities will include processing AP and owning the AP function, checking vouchers for payment, preparing checks, printing AP reports, maintaining files, assisting with monthly reporting, expense reimbursements, collections, and serving as back-up for billing. Looking for someone who has 2-3+ years of relevant AP/AR experience, has a background work in the professional services or legal industry, and is confident in owning the AP inbox. Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Perform general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records. Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting and forecasting activities. Assist in cash flow analysis to optimize the organization’s liquidity position. Utilize accounting software for data entry, reporting, and financial management tasks. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including wills, trusts, and estate law as applicable. Support public accounting efforts by preparing necessary documentation for audits and reviews. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as an accounting clerk or in a similar role within public accounting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation. Proficient in accounting software; familiarity with financial analysis tools is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines. AFTP123
