Accounts Payable Specialist 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Roxbury, MA 02119 We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Roxbury, Massachusetts. This position requires someone who can quickly adapt and provide immediate assistance to an overloaded department. The role involves handling essential accounts payable tasks and supporting the team in maintaining smooth operations. This is a part time position with flexible hours between Tuesday- Thursday. ONSITE hours are required. You MUST have proficient experience with MS Dynamics; Soloman.

Responsibilities:

Process and code invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments. Manage accounts payable functions using Microsoft Dynamics SL or similar software. Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies promptly. Handle accrual accounting and ensure compliance with company policies. Conduct audits of payment records to verify accuracy and completeness. Administer Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and other electronic transactions. Collaborate with the finance team to maintain accurate reporting and documentation. Assist in streamlining accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency. Provide support during peak workloads and urgent deadlines. Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics SL Strong knowledge of accounts payable practices, including accrual accounting. Familiarity with automated payment systems, such as ACH. Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of transactions. Solid understanding of auditing and reconciliation processes. Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and colleagues. Ability to work onsite in Roxbury, Massachusetts on a part-time schedule.
