Manufacturing Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Specialist to join a growing manufacturing organization. This role will support the Finance team with a primary focus on Accounts Payable , as well as Accounts Receivable , journal entries , and month-end close assistance . The ideal candidate brings strong ERP system experience, excellent accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Process vendor invoices using a 3-way match process Resolve invoice and PO discrepancies Schedule payments (check, ACH, or vendor-specific methods) Manage employee expense reports and corporate card reconciliations Ensure timely and accurate postings and filings Accounts Receivable Apply incoming customer payments Follow up on outstanding balances Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer billing issues General Accounting Support Record and reconcile bank transactions not tied to AP/AR Assist with preparation of payroll journal entries Support month-end close tasks and general ledger updates Maintain financial documentation in compliance with company policy Qualifications 1-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of AP/AR processes and general accounting principles Proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience with ERP systems (IQMS, DELMIAWorks, NetSuite, Epicor, etc.) Strong communication and organizational skills Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred Work Environment On-site position at a manufacturing facility Collaborative, fast-paced finance and operations team Opportunity to grow into a permanent full-time role with added responsibilities
