Accounts Payable Clerk Langford & Low, Inc. Portland, ME 04103 Responsibilities The Accounts Payable Clerk will play a crucial role in managing the company’s financial obligations This position requires a meticulous individual with experience in SAGE software who can efficiently handle vendor payments and expense control You will gain valuable experience and be part of a team that values accuracy and efficiency Compile amounts owed by the company to vendors, suppliers, or other organizations/individuals Utilize SAGE software for processing invoices Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records while ensuring timely payments Proficiency in SAGE software Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Ability to analyze financial records and reports Good communication skills 3-7 years of experience in accounts payable or related field Experience with SAGE software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable Works closely with Controller to ensure proper processes are developed and maintained.
