Job Description:
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Coordinator independently coordinates and processes invoices and requests for payment, utilizing standard accounts payable functions and ensures timely accurate payments to vendors while adhering to policy and responsibly safeguarding the finances of theanization.
Originates and releases online banking transactions such as wire transfers, EFT payments as required to meet Finance Department obligations
Responsible for reviewing expense reports Prioritizes multiple Accounts Payable tasks and projects to ensure timelypletion. Works independently as well as collaboratively, challenges the status quo, proactively suggests improvements to streamline workflow and optimize technology. Tests and troubleshoots existing and proposed systems.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.
Facilitates the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of program or area services and initiatives. Facilitates the development of practice standards and measurable oues based on performance evaluation and research.
Serves as a resource to others regarding departmental/area policies, procedures, and services. Performs technical functions of area as needed to fulfill service levels.
The ideal candidate will have:
Associates degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Applicable work experience considered. Demonstrated ability to perform wide variety of duties with responsibility, accuracy and speed
Excellent analytic skills with eye for details and ability to prioritize and balance projects under strict deadlines
Excellent interpersonalmunications skills, both written and verbal
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications; experience mining and manipulating data across diverseputer-based systems
Workday experience a plus!
Experience with p-card or virtual card processing and 1099 reporting a plus
