Job Description:
Are you a Finance or Health Care Revenue Cycle expert with a flair for problem-solving and excellentmunication skills? MaineGeneral Health is on the lookout for its next Customer Service superstar! As a Customer Service Representative•Accounts Receivable, you’ll play a crucial role in handling patient billing issues, setting up payment arrangements, providing price estimates, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities:
Manage large volumes of iing calls with a focus on excellent customer service
Build relationships and trust with patients through open and interactivemunication
Resolve patient account issues, including setting up payment plans and addressing billing/collection errors
Collaborate with internal/external resources to investigate and resolve issues
Document and note patient accounts, ensuring accuracy andpleteness
Assist with account-related special projects
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to adapt to a dynamic environment
Positive attitude andmitment to fully resolving customer issues
Background in finance or healthcare revenue cycle
Experience in a fast-paced, structured environment, handling large call volumes
Proficiency in navigating payer s and medical billing software programs
Working knowledge of insurance programs and understanding of HIPAA guidelines
Excellentmunication and analytical skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel
5+ years of extensive customer service experience strongly preferred
