Full Charge Bookkeeper 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 719 Main Road North, Hampden, ME 04444 Full-Charge Bookkeeper We’re seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of our company’s financial operations. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing timely and accurate financial reports.
Responsibilities include:
Oversight of accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections. Oversight of payroll and related taxes and employee benefits. Reconcile bank and credit card statements. Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets and income statements, and other financial reporting). Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial data. Prepare for and assist with audits and tax filings. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting or Business Management or Associates in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years experience as a full-charge bookkeeper. Proficiency in QuickBooks or other relevant accounting software. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Strong understanding of payroll, payroll taxation and deductions, and online payroll processing systems such as PayChex. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
