Overview:

We are seeking a skilled full or part time experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in . As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the clients financial records and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This is a key role within our organization, requiring strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

Duties:

• Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank statements
• Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or issues
• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with relevant laws and regulations
• Monitor financial transactions to ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
• Strong knowledge of governmental accounting principles
• Experience with account reconciliation processes
• Excellent 10-key typing skills for accurate data entry
• Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and tax regulations
• Solid understanding of financial concepts and terminology
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
