Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist Facial Surgery Group Kansas City, MO 64153 Facial Surgery Group is looking for a motivated individual with background in dental billing and coding to bring onto our growing team. In the position of billing and accounts receivable specialist you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and expertise, work independently, as well as be a key contributor in our billing and collects department. You will be responsible for submitting patient claims to insurers, working with pre-determinations, and appeals. You will also be responsible for the patient and some insurance accounts receivable oversight for the clinics as well. Strong insurance experience is needed for this position! Candidates must have an extensive understanding of dental and / or medical terminology and procedures, be competent with insurance coding / billing processes and procedures, working experience with

ICD-9 / ICD-10

codes, accounts receivable and treatment planning. Attention to detail is a must!! Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Must have strong customer service skills and the ability to successfully interact with patients and members of the team at all levels (including the surgeons). A friendly, energetic, “work together attitude” are characteristics that we are looking for in an applicant that is going to fit into our Business Office Team.
