We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist II to join our team. Your role as The Accounts Receivable Specialist II is a member of the Finance Team and is responsible for the accurate processing, billing, payment application, and collections of the receivable for Schools, Private Insurance, Medicaid, Self-pay Accounts, as well as Contracts/Government Billing. Cornerstones of Care has an approximate annual cash flow of $65M. As a member of the Finance Department team, you will work with other team members and report to our Tabitha Davidson-Jadwin.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

ESSENTIAL

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor unbilled, AR reports, and work accounts to prevent timely filing
Check the status of unpaid claims and work with payors to resolve issues
Payment posting
Prepare, review & send statements/invoices
Manage Account Receivable reports
Report any billing issues that may hinder revenue
Assist with intake, as necessary
Charge input and verification
Work support tickets for relevant accounts with billing corrections as necessary
Review weekly billing reports to communicate with program staff data entry needs/corrections
Participate in monthly program meetings to communicate billing issues/needs
Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Our ideal candidate will have worked at this level is more complex compared to the Accounts Receivable Specialist I role, requiring greater expertise in claims processing, AR management, and problem-solving. years of relevant experience Two Years of billing experienceand the following:

REQUIREMENTS

At least 21 years of age and pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
A valid driver’s license, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
Minimum of two years of billing experience
Previous Experience with Kansas and/or Missouri Medicaid billing a plus

Starting Salary:

$20

  • $25 (Per Hour)
