• Process and review accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Analyze invoices for discrepancies and resolve issues with vendors promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate timely payment processing.
• Support month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts payable balances.
• Utilize double entry bookkeeping techniques to maintain accurate financial records.
• Continuously improve processes related to accounts payable operations. Qualifications
• Proven experience in an accounts payable role or similar position within an accounting environment.
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in financial software applications; experience with Quicken or similar tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and propose solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
