Job Description Accounts Payable Clerk
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for efficiently managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to vendors, and maintaining financial records. Responsibilities Reviews invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Enter invoices into the system and set up specific check disbursements.
Ensure payments are made on time and accurately.
Keepanized and accurate back up records for future reference and audit information.
Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies or issues.
Ensure proper Sales / Use tax is paid/applied.
Preparing and mailing out the 1099s.
Other duties as assigned.
