Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and reconciling discrepancies. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring compliance with established guidelines. Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and deposits. Conduct credit analysis to assess the creditworthiness of clients and vendors. Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with SOX compliance requirements. Utilize QuickBooks accounting software for data entry and reporting purposes. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting and analysis. Assist with governmental accounting requirements and tax preparation as needed. Sorting mail, completing daily errands such as post office and bank (RELIABLE

). Accepting parcels and maintaining our UPS drop-off entity. Accepting and processing payments for our CoolSafe storage facility entity, as well as Greene’s Pond & RV Campground (BBS sister company). Completing weekly payroll for BBS staff. Qualifications Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including budgeting, tax regulations, and financial acumen. Proficiency in QuickBooks is desirable. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for this role. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
