The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing reliable accounting and clerical support to our accounting department. This role plays a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely processing of transactions across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities Provide accounting and administrative support to the accounting department Process vendor invoices accurately and consistently Prepare and process checks for payment Reconcile credit card statements and ensure appropriate documentation Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies Reconcile receivables and assist with collections as needed Assist with monthly closing procedures and reporting Support special projects and audits as required Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Accounting or related field required Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Supportive and team-oriented work environment Opportunities for professional development and growth Company stability with over 20 years of franchise success
