A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers – providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. Job Description The Accounting Senior Representative position will perform the following duties: Checks figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. Operates computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information. Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations. Debits, credits, and totals accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software and Microsoft Excel Classifies, records, and summarizes numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers. Calculates, prepares, and issues bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements according to established procedures. Compiles statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses. Codes documents according to company procedures. Accesses computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts. Operates 10-key calculators, typewriters, and copy machines to perform calculations and produces documents. Process daily mail checks and deposit through system. Print/verify sales representatives’ collection reporting for posting. Print daily lockbox checks and ACH payments from bank. Research bank credit/debit memos, and deposit reconciliations. Process new ACH forms and manage daily. Balance AR daily. Other duties as needed to support the department. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in an Accounting Department.
