Main Purpose of the Role The Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for day-to-day operational efficiency of the Accounts Receivable department.
Key Responsibilities:
Process daily transactions that could include cash, customer adjustments including missing EOBs, customer and payer refunds, payments, returns and rewards. Research customer account discrepancies and recommend solutions. Assist drafting SOPs and procedure documentation. Provide recommendations for procedure enhancements when requested Generate and interpret system reports. Holds oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus’ Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Two or four-year college degree and a minimum of 4 years’ experience 5+ years’ experience with healthcare insurance AR Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and AR modules of ERP (SAP experience preferred) Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent customer facing skills Highly detail oriented.
