The Accounting-Office Assistant handle tasks like data entry, filing, processing invoices, payments, bank deposits, answering phones, handling mail and general activities related with account payables and account receivables.
Responsibilities:
Include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed may be required as deemed necessary. Data entry Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department; include accounts receivables and account payables activities. Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records. Post invoices, verify data in system to resolve discrepancies with customer’s accounts. Receive payments and Prepare bank deposits. Asist with monthly closing process. Maintain updated customers and vendors files and records. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Support with other administrative functions, as required included phone and customer service. Must be in constant communication, positive attitude and be willing to help others, as necessary. Skills Competency in Quickbooks, preferable Competency in MS Office. Accuracy and attention to detail Aptitude for numbers Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks Data entry Well organized High school degree Spanish language is a plus
