Job Description:
Addison Group is seeking an accounting specialist for our client based in Charlotte, NC. This role supports the financial operations of multiple field units across the Carolinas. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and detail-oriented accounting professional, comfortable in a hands-on role with a blend of training, oversight, and direct accounting support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide financial oversight for multiple local branches with distinct program-specific budgets.
Monitor daily accounting activity performed by field staff to ensure consistency and compliance with internal standards.
Assist with reconciliations, monthly closings, and general ledger management.
Serve as a resource to field staff by offering accounting guidance, on-site training, and process improvement support.
Act as a liaison between branch teams and the central finance office to streamline reporting and maintain accurate financials.
Support units in using standardized systems and tools, ensuring consistency in documentation and reporting.

Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (35-hour workweek).
