Full Job Description Goal:
Perform a combination of routine duties to complete all Accounts Payable cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner. Process Field Payroll and backup for Subcontractor Payroll. Special projects as assigned. I.
Hours:
Monday-Friday – 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 30-minute lunch
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. II. Day to Day Functions to include: 1. Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store and analyze Accounts Payable information. 2. Research and investigate invoices with incorrect or missing purchase orders. 3. Communicate with vendors regarding invoices and payments. 4. Validate & track vendors; Certificate of Insurance, W-9. 5. Balance and reconcile Vendor statements. 6. Work with staff to obtain approval for invoices pertaining to jobs. 7. Scan and maintain invoices and other documentation. 8. Release payments in a timely and efficient manner. 9. Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, proper general ledger and job cost coding. 10. Process A/P and record applicable overhead to jobs. 11. Prepare and provide Cash Requirements and Check Registers. 12. Annual 1099 & Field W2 processing. 13. Maintain files and reports. 14. Process Field Payroll and backup for Subcontractor Payroll. 15. Accounting processing for related Company. 16. Paint Invoices – SW & PPG invoices – scrapping ProPaint to Vista. 17. Process Regions credit cards to AP. 18. Special Accounting Projects. III.
Miscellaneous Tasks/General Requirements:
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 2. Professional and polished in appearance and speech. 3. Self-motivated, punctual and forward thinker. 4. Able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills. 5. Computer and Accounting literacy required. 6. Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office products (word, excel, outlook). Construction Software. 7. Participate in Company sponsored training as made available.

Two – Five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
VII. LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical manuals, and government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and the general public.
VIII. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as costs, overhead, profit, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
IX. REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to organize and prioritize data from several sources.
