The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a thorough understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP. This role requires expertise in financial management, and tax regulations, as well as the ability to interpret financial reports and prepare financial statements. The Accounting Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and compliance with relevant laws. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards. • Conduct financial forecasting to assist in budget planning and resource allocation. Interpret financial reports to provide insights into the organization’s performance. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Assist in tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Collaborate with other departments to support financial management initiatives. Stay updated on changes in wills, trusts, estate law, and other relevant legal frameworks that may impact financial practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of payroll processes. Knowledge of financial management principles and practices. Proficiency in preparing financial statements and reports. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
