Job Description
Accounts Payable Admin LHH Recruitment Solutions Greensboro, NC One of our excellent clients in Greensboro has asked for our help to hire an Accounts Payable Administrator. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage job costing invoices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing and recording financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately process and manage job costing invoices, ensuring all costs are allocated correctly to the appropriate jobs and projects. Enter and process invoices in the accounting system, ensuring timely and accurate recording of all transactions. Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and maintain positive relationships. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and statements, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of accounts payable reports and provide support during audits. Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field, with a focus on job costing Experience with GreatPlains highly preferred This is a direct hire role with benefits starting on first day of employment. Pay is dependent on experience with a range of $21-23/hour.
