!! We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join one of our excellent clients in Greensboro. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices, and performing a 3-way match for several locations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and process invoices, ensuring all transactions are recorded in a timely manner. Perform a 3-way match (purchase order, receiving report, and vendor invoice) to verify the accuracy of invoices and ensure proper authorization and documentation. Manage and process payables for multiple locations, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies. Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and maintain positive relationships. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and statements, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of accounts payable reports and provide support during audits. Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. This is an immediate need starting on a temporary basis. Once trained, this role does offer hybrid flexibility. Pay is dependent on experience but range is $22-26/hour.
Pay Details:
