In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the organization’s accounting operations. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in accounts payable and accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy in account coding and compliance with company policies. Manage payment cycles, including ACH transactions and other automated payment methods. Utilize accounting software systems and ERP platforms to maintain accurate financial records. Perform auditing tasks to identify discrepancies and ensure proper documentation. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any outstanding issues. Assist in accrual accounting processes to support month-end and year-end reporting. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address inquiries related to payments. Monitor and improve accounts payable procedures to enhance efficiency. Generate financial reports and provide insights on payment trends and expenses. Support the implementation and use of tools like Concur for expense management. Proven experience in accounts payable operations and financial services. Strong proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms. Knowledge of account coding and accrual accounting principles. Familiarity with tools such as Concur and automated clearing house (ACH) processes. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to perform auditing tasks and resolve discrepancies effectively. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
