As a Medical Billing / Accounts Receivable Specialist , you will play a critical role in supporting our billing operations, ensuring accuracy in resident accounts, and contributing to the financial well-being of the organization. Key Responsibilities Perform monthly private pay billing for residents Record all paper payments accurately Process private pay refunds Conduct end-of-month closing procedures related to accounts receivable Follow up and collect on slow-paying accounts Code invoices related to private pay billing Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive and financial information Provide billing support across all Kintura locations Qualifications High school diploma required 3-5 years of billing experience preferred Experience with Point Click Care and Full Count software preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong understanding of accounting practices and solid mathematical ability Strong computer, research, and analytical skills Genuine interest in working with older adults Positive outlook and customer-focused attitude Ability to work independently and with attention to detail Flexibility to manage a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, patience, and customer service skills Minimal travel required (within NC during business hours using a company vehicle)
