CORPORATE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINISTRATOR
Champion Hoist & Equipment Company 200 Champion Drive, Dunn, NC 28334 Overview Reports to the Controller. The Corporate Accounts Administrator is responsible for maintaining timely and accurate posting of all vendor invoices, payments, accurate records of required documents and correspondence with vendors for up to 4 operating companies of the corporation.
Hourly position:
Rate commiserate with experience Standard hours: 40 hours/week within M-Th 7:30- 5:00. Friday 8:00-12:00. This is an In office position; not work from home. Duties Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to the Godwin Group and its vendors. Operate within the guidelines and requirements of the company purchasing, banking and accounting policies. Receive, match and post payments for vendor invoices in SAGE accounting software to include accurately making payments and applying discounts take Maintain vendor files to include invoices, Purchase Orders, receiving documents, Certificate of Insurance, terms, and discounts. Data entry of new vendors and vendor invoices and credits in SAGE. Review vendor statements for accuracy. Communicate with vendors to resolve issues such as pricing and receipts. Prepare regular payments and check to vendors withing accounting policy. Receive and process company expense reports ensuring compliance and accurate accounting. Assist with month end closing responsibilities to include journal entries, closing registers and reconciling accounts. Develop excellent skills using Outlook, Word, Excel, SAGE accounting software, and other company supported software. Manage accurate accounts payable and related accounts. Provide reports as needed. Additional related duties as required by the controller, CFO and Executive team.
Job Requirements:
Team Player, customer service minded, personal initiative, problem solver, detail oriented and high organizational skills Excellent General Computer skills / data entry, MS Outlook, Word, Excel. 5 years A/P and general accounting software experience. SAGE preferred. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds (general office items).
