Job Description
Position Summary The Staff Accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, help maintain accurate financial records, and support month-end processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with cash receipt management and accounts receivable collections Support accounts payable by processing payables and issuing payments Prepare general journal entries and help with month-end closing procedures Conduct bank and general ledger reconciliations Help maintain and update vendor files, manage communications, and assist with expense reporting Perform credit and collections follow-ups including emails, calls, and updating internal systems Support the review of customer credit applications and help recommend credit terms Assist with processing customer credit card payments and issuing vendor credit payments via Client Contribute to special projects, transactional research, and financial analysis as needed Work with the Director of Finance on budget support and refining internal processes Coordinate staff travel arrangements in alignment with company policy Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong computer skills include Accounting systems and Excel. Ability to work independently in a team environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Issue credit payments for vendors through Client. Strong attention to detail. Ability to multitask independently in a team setting. Education & Experience 2-5 years’ work experience in accounting functions.
