Accounts Receivable Specialist Position Available In Mecklenburg, North Carolina

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this Contract to Permanent role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and efficient cash application processes. Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
• Handle cash applications, including recording and reconciling incoming payments.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances through commercial collections.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address billing discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on cash activity and receivables.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address payment-related inquiries.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounts receivable processes and efficiency. Requirements
• Proven experience in accounts receivable, including billing and cash applications.
• Familiarity with commercial collections and resolving outstanding balances.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to reconcile payment discrepancies.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
