We are looking for a dynamic, results oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This exciting opportunity is waiting for a meticulous and proactive individual that is ready to take charge of the payables process. This is a chance to play a critical role in ensuring our vendors are paid timely and our financial operations run smoothly. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and strong problem-solving skills. This candidate will also have experience working with multiple departments and separate company books. Finally, this candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. Responsibilities Own the accounts payable cycle end-to-end (invoice and payment processing, vendor statement reconciliation, new vendor set up, AP aging reporting) Work cross-functionally with all departments to troubleshoot and resolve PO/invoice/payment discrepancies Manage vendor relationships with clarity, professionalism, and positivity Support month end, quarter end, and year end closes Analyze AP policies, workflow processes, and internal controls to ensure efficiency Prepare and file 1099s Contribute to team effort with ad-hoc projects and reports as needed

Requirements:

Requirements 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience Strong understanding of General Ledger and Accounts Payable principles and procedures High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and time management Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Confident communicator with the ability to interact with vendors and staff Proficiency in English and MS Office Nice To Have Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field Experience with Motor Base and Job Boss Proud of our history.
