Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in invoice processing and enterprise systems who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities :
Process both purchase order and non-purchase order vendor invoices for payment. Handle travel and employee business expense reimbursements and patient refunds. Perform general administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, sorting / distributing mail, and responding to inquiries via phone and email. Collaborate with Purchasing and Materials Management to resolve discrepancies in a 3-way match invoice processing system. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all vendor, employee, and patient refund payments in accordance with company policies. Assist with monthly vendor expense accruals and AP closeout procedures. Support weekly and demand check runs.
Top Requirements :
2-3+ years of experience in invoice processing and accounts payable. Experience working in a large enterprise environment, with an understanding of supply chain processes. ERP system experience (Infor preferred, but open to other platforms).
Preferred Qualifications :
Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Familiarity with healthcare or medical center environments is a plus.
