This role includes cash revenue recognition, overseeing Time of Service collections, and collaborating closely with the finance, clinical and revenue cycle team on resolving escalated issues related to cash collections. Essential functions Prepare and post daily cash revenue entries from the bank based on clinical location Process high volume of bank deposits via remote check depositor, daily Partner with Clinic Manager to reconcile Time of Service collections (credit card, checks and cash), weekly Reconcile monthly bank accounts Ensure all payments, rebates, and inflows are recorded properly in the accounting system, daily Work and collaborate with the Revenue Cycle to troubleshoot daily payment posting Assist with month-end closing processes, including accruals and reporting Adhere and follow strict cash and treasury management organization policies Maintain organized and up-to-date files for all accounts receivable documents Recommend process improvements and contribute to efficiency initiatives within the finance department Perform other duties as required to support the overall Finance and Accounting team Core Competencies for Success Sound knowledge of GAAP (Generally accepted accounting principles) Mid to advance Excell skills (Vlook up, X-Look up, H-Look up, Pivot Tables) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional integrity and ability to handle confidential information Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset Team-oriented and eager to support others when needed Forward thinking and open to new ideas and change Highly organized with exceptional follow-through Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information Working independently and completing assignments in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner Ability to adjust, change, or modify their approach, mindset, or behavior in response to new circumstances, challenges, or changing environments Required education Bachelor’s and/or associate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 2-4 years general accounting/accounts receivable experience. Excellent data entry skills Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, etc.) Preferred education and experience Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (Early Career) Healthcare industry experience QuickBooks Online, Desktop, or Enterprise experience Physical requirements Sitting for approximately 90% percent of the day Periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, and reaching Fine Motor Skills Visual acuity
