Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract in Cary, North Carolina. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in accounts payable who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify a high volume of accounts payable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Perform coding of invoices to appropriate accounts and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Execute regular check runs, including preparation and distribution of payments.
  • Utilize SAP S/4HANA and Esker systems for invoice processing and workflow management.
  • Enter and update financial data into the system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to address and resolve invoice or payment issues.
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency. Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and Esker systems is strongly preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and analysis.
  • Experience with coding invoices and reconciling accounts.
  • Ability to manage check runs and ensure timely processing of payments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
